Formed in 2014, the duo started earning appreciation thanks to a bunch of cover videos they put on-line. After the first italian gigs and a small tour over Brasil, Ink Trees publish their first album OUTLINES (January 2017).

Matteo Ratti
guitar, stomp box, vocals

Matteo is currently in charge of organizing nationally the singing department of Lizard Academy. He’s presenting over Italy a unique style that consists of a “rough voice” and introducing an advanced technique for singing two different notes at the same time.

He shared the stage with David Bryan (Bon Jovi) during the Carrara Idol event in 2012 and 2014, while working on productions at “FP Studio Recording” of Federico Pedichini, “Studio Lab” of Sergio Taglioni, “House of Glass” of Gianni Bini, “City Music” and “The White Rabbit” of Nicola Baronti and Reload Studios.

Enrico Messina
cello, backing vocals

Enrico has been a cello player with the “Ensemble Symphony Orchestra” (ESO) for the national tours of renown artists like Francesco Renga (First Cello on 2010 tour “Orchestra e Voce”), Pooh (First Cello on 2012 tour “Opera Seconda”), Mario Biondi, Morgan, Baustelle, Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi and Giovanni Allevi, in addition to two concerts in Rome and Brescia for Sting’s “Symphonicity Tour” in 2012. He took part of the recordings for the albums “Sulla Strada” by Francesco De Gregori, “Saga – Il canto dei canti” by Giovanni Lindo FerrettiĀ and “Love in Portofino” by Andrea Bocelli.
In 2008 he won the MTV Ultrasounds musical contest with the song Lasciami qui.
